Last Tuesday 28th May we won our under 11 division 1 league, beating Oughterard 2-1. We are also in the premier cup final tonight Tuesday the 11th June. Well done to everyone on the panel.

Mr Birmingham’s Fourth Class and Mr Mr Mulrooney’s Fourth Class both had 95% of the boys walking or cycling to school today. They didn’t let Ms Lally’s class win a Hat Trick! Well Done to ALL who support this project and make an effort to walk or cycle to school on Wednesdays.

Ms Lally’s Class were the proud winners of the Golden Boot Award again this week. They are aiming for the Hat Trick next week!!!

Ms Lally’s fifth class made a very determined effort to win the golden boot this week. 95% of the boys walked or cycled to school today. The pressure is on now as other classes are eager to win the golden boot. Well done to ALL who supported the event.

Even though the weather was not very inviting this morning one of our classes made a very determined effort to support our Green School Project. 95% of the boys walked or cycled to school today. This week the winning class is Mr Birmingham’s Fourth Class. Well done to ALL who took part.
Oesophageal Cancer Fund
We wish to say a BIG thank you to all of the pupils who supported the recent Oesophageal Cancer Lollipop Day. Each morning the boys queued excitedly to buy a lollipop to support this very worthy cause. The school raised €200 which we were delighted to hand over to the Oesophageal Cancer Fund.
Paper Airplanes
Making Paper Airplanes In Geography we were studying about raw materials being recycled. We talked about the paper trail and watched a video on a paper recycling factory. We decided we would reuse paper ourselves. We looked at the Japanese art of paper folding called origami. We decided as a class to make paper planes.…
Morphun
Ms Barrett’s Class have been busy using Morphun to create some very interesting models. Aaron made a Jack-in-the-box and a model of the moon. Dylan made a firefly. Below you can see some of the other Morphun models.
