Open Night

We are delighted to invite all prospective parents to our open night on March 7th. This is for parents of 1st class students who will be joining us next year and students from other schools who are also joining us.

School Closure

St.Pats will be closed Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd March following red weather alert and Dept. Of Education directive.

Double quiz champions

Photos of our quiz champions. We’ll done boys, first in junior and senior sections from over 35 local schools. It was a huge effort from the boys and thanks to Mr. Burke for all the time he puts into this. They now go on to represent the Tuam district in the county finals.

Weather Alert

Dear Parents, the Department of Education and the National Emergency Coordination Committee have advised schools in red weather alert counties to close on Monday 16th. The red alert looks likely to stay in place at this stage so St.Pats will not be open on Monday 16th. Please spread the word. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.…

Past Pupil Brendan to represent Ireland.

Past pupil Brendan Murray will represent Ireland in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘Dying to Try’. St.Pats will be supporting Brendan all the way and we are really looking forward to seeing him in action in Kiev in May.

Great win for Quiz team

Our Senior quiz team had a fantastic win on Friday 27th January in the Tuam Area Credit Union Quiz. The team held off intense competition from 30 other teams to come out on top. The team on the night was James Murphy, Krzysztof Cwik, Callum Healy and Luke Kenny. Well done also to the junior…

E Safety

On 11th November our 5th and 6th classes were visited by a guest speaker on staying safe online. This is an important part of our anti-bullying policy. It was extremely interesting to students and teachers alike. Yet again the message came through that anything written up online can be there forever for all to see.…

Visit to GAA centre of Excellence

On Wednesday 12th October, our 6th classes will visit the Connacht GAA centre of Excellence. This promises to be a very exciting day indeed and thanks to our county coach Thomas Hughes for organising the day.

New School Building

Over the summer the builders have been working hard to get the extra accommodation that we need ready. We are delighted that they are almost finished and we have a sneak preview of the work.
